Is Life Pre-Destined?Or Do We Have Control Over Our Fate? We have control on our fate.. Each thought from the time we take birth rules us towards future. If One is sorrounded by negative people, negative thoughts and negative environment then the controlling point is negative input. As the old saying goes sow a thought reap an action, sow an action reap a habit , so a habit reap a charecter , sow a charecter reap a destiny. Take the History... Read autobiographies of great leaders. Watch the Present day Leaders, Obama, Oprah and many more.. how they fought with their fate and where they reached. If they believed that the fate controls everything in their life... they would not have been there where they are now. The Luck is hardwork/preparation meeting with opportunity at the right time. If one is prepared to take the opportunity, he can change the destiny. The destiny is what we have to create . As we grow in life, as a child, our mind is like a clean slate where the outward enviroment writes the images .. those images control our thought pattern and ultimate journey in life. If we break the limited knowledge and try to enter into the abundant world's knowledge and observe the people who created the history, who travelled against all odds , who are always stayed as examples to the future generations to follow, we can learn the new habit patterns and we can realize our full potential.
I always go with the opinion that .. we can change our destiny if we decide to do so at any stage, age , position . It's the passion which drives a person to achieve astounding results.

Why do some people have always good or bad situations?
The Situations are always there either good or bad, if you ask why then the answer is if no situation is there, then there is no need for us to do anything. Any situation either good are bad will always effect us depending on how we react towards it. So situations are always there, what my opinion is instead of thinking about why they are there, we can find a solution to face it or if it is not in our control then leave it and proceed towards other important things in life.
Self help writers are always successful in their thinking. If once our thinking is positive every action follows the positive mode. I don't know how much self help writers earn or how many books they write, but one thing I can say that they are happy in what they are doing.
I agree with you that there are limitations in life , created by situation, but we have to understand the limitations and we should search for people who have already broke those similar type of limitations and moved forward. It is always depends on how we react.

Obama, Oprah ....good. what about others guys who didn't make to it. Positive speakers, personality development coaches, self help writers and so on...what have they achieved in their life? If their achievement is compared on scale, what is their success? has anyone self-help writer achieved anything more than just writing a book and couple of millions? There are limitations in life, created by the situation, which are not in our control. My question is - why do some people have always good or bad situations?
